It’s a given that the best seafood is caught fresh. But that’s because the one thing that makes our mouths water when it comes to the foods that land on our plate — they are fresh caught or picked.
So it makes sense to pair fresh bounty from the sea with fresh bounty from the field whether that is the broccoli you’ll steam with a touch of butter, or the sweet Western cabbage that makes the best slaw a person could ever eat.
But we understand what it takes to be fresh… that you only have hours to cool your vegetables to ensure that they have the best shelf life and taste. We work pretty hard on that, because when it comes right down to it, fresh is always the best.
